Volunteer Program Update
We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support from our community and for everyone who has expressed a desire to volunteer with us. Your willingness to give your time and heart to our dogs truly means more than we can say.
At this time, however, we have made the difficult decision to pause all on-site volunteer activities. Unfortunately, due to repeated issues with noncompliance with our policies and procedures, we can no longer safely or effectively accommodate volunteers at our facility.
The safety, structure, and well-being of our dogs must always come first. While the vast majority of our supporters have had the best intentions, it only takes a few instances of not following guidelines to create risks for the animals in our care.
We understand this may be disappointing, and it was not a decision we made lightly.
If you would still like to support our mission, there are other meaningful ways to help—such as fostering, donating, or sharing our dogs to help them find loving homes.
